Stay here and enjoy your Toronto trip. Greatly enjoyed it - the place is newly remodelled and suited me fine. Food options are delightful. The staff are helpful and excellent. The location is unbeatable and excellent, 2 km from a mixed recreational and natural park.

The place was newly built and had spacious rooms with cozy carpets. Its location was great, close to the waterfront and streetcars.

Well, with the bad reviews, I expected much less. We got a clean room, an upgrade even...everything was well within expectations for a standard motel with basic amenities. The location was almost perfect for a budget hotel, with a McDonald's, Convenience Store, Breakfast Restaurant X2 and a deli ad pharmacy. Right on the trolly route and quick to downtown. Breakfast was standard continental, with toast, bagels, bananas, juice, coffee cereal and waffles. Everything was clean and efficient. The only issues we had were guests that were a it noisy (barking dogs). Otherwise this was an excellent stay at a value hotel. I look forward to using the facility in the future.
That breakfast ended promptly at 10 am. Otherwise the experience was good. We had a problem with the card readers (they kept resetting), but I believe that was a security issue because we had three+ cards to use.

Nothing, this was a horrible place
Terrible place. To begin with, it is located at the end of a tram line and there is 24-hour noise from the trams going in and out of the station. Be very careful with this detail because you will not get any sleep, you can hear them 24 hours and they are loud! Do not take the third floor rooms, they all stink as if they were washed in nicotine.. The second floor room that I was given had the floor carpet soaked with water so I had to jump over that spot on the way to the bathroon. Of, the breakfast is horrible, bagels that were fresh a week before, water down orange jiuce and the two bananas that were there in the morning had seen better days around Christmas time

1. Location - on a nice ethnic street, close to parks and lakeshore. 2. Good public transportation. 3. Not too expensive.
1. Free breakfast could be better - how about boiled eggs and fresh fruit to make it more balanced and healthier ?! 2. The safes in the room do not work - a biggish minus if you have cash, passports and valuables with you.

Just about the best value hotel we could find on line. Accommodation in Toronto very expensive. Easily accessible by very frequent tta street car from downtown, details readily available from front desk prior to arrival. (Tram route # 504). Airport easily reached by tta tram, train and bus, $2 each for seniors. Breakfast one of the best. Staff helpful.
Size of room.
